Hey there! It's been a while but I'm back with an update on here for ya. Ive been Runnin all over the country side from Tahoe to Jersey but I'm Finlay home for a little and gettin back after it at the Peak.

Some History You Should Know

Jeremy Jones said .....Father snowboarding goes by the name Celime. I met him two years ago in Turkey. (Read Post) Celime has been riding longer then anyone else in the world. He is a goofy footer. He has a certain sparkle in his eyes and content demeanor that can only be achieved from a life well spent in the mountains. He is a happy and peaceful man who has found his fountain of youth, riding everyday. He does not move like a seventy year old man, he is agile, and graceful. I did a sit down interview with him and although we had a interpreter much was lost in translation. Now I have a precise translation of the interview and his words pack even more meaning then I realized at the time.

“It started 400 years ago. When I say 400 years ago, its according to the statements of our grandfathers. The grandfather tells his grandson who tells his own son. Nothing else was left from our grandfathers, except riding.

I am approximately 70 years old. And now it’s my son Halim who keeps it going.

I have been riding with this board since 1946. And before this it was our ancestors.

I learnt it from my father, it’s him who showed me.

We find wooden boards and nail them together and attach a cord to the front. You rest your foot here and the other foot here, you take the cord, you place the stick at the back And of course you will fall a few times before you master it. If you get the right position, you cannot fall. Once you learn, you’re like a pilot, you fly.

There was no café at the time when our grandfathers lived. It was a game, leisure. They were so closely bound with each other, that if one yelled, all of them gathered to go riding. We had no other toy, and that’s how it remained a tradition, and because with the friends we could stay connected and that’s why the story is repeated generation after generation.

That’s what our fathers taught us. It’s bee passed down from fathers to sons for 400 years. And it will go on like this. Life goes on.

If I am not riding, I get sick and even lose my appetite. I’ll go up and down, up and down

Without it, my body is sick. I haven’t “Lazboarding,” I feel bad. It’s a necessity, I can’t live with out it. But I will continue “Lazboaridng” until my last day. It was the same for our grandfathers.”

New Lift-Serviced Terrain Park That Sets The Standard For Other Areas
A new Terrain Park called "F5" will make its debut this season. This terrain park will have its own surface lift for maximum laps in the park. The addition of this terrain park gives Pats Peak a total of three parks.

So sick. I know it's summer but get stoked for winter. It's coming.

The rail jam went down today and it was sick!! So many people threw down soo hard. I can't wait to see the video because I couldn't even keep track of who was doing what. Cody Delano took first doin' crazy good stuff like 50-50 down flat back 270 to board slide on the new rail. Redic'!! Second was Mikey P! All around he did sweet moves and held it down with solid tricks and weird swich ups. And third was grabed by Mr. Bradly (David). He was every where at once it seemed like, doing stellar stuff in every feature there was to ride.

Sooo... The Man of Steel rail jam is coming up next weekend which means you better be ready for so rail moves. The new rail is AMAZING! And no i won't tell you what it is! The guys down at Eastern Boarder are throwin' down some good prizes and there's lots of sweet stuff.
This week Phil, Chad, Dylan and I got to have some fun being stunt doubles for a movie. It's called A Cheep Ski Movie, and part of it got filmed at Pats yesterday. It was sweet and the park is changed up a little bit and there's more to come.
In other things going on Red Bull Butter Cup finals were last weekend. Dylan got 1st. ( soooo sick! ) , i got 3rd. and every one killed it. Here's the video. Oh yeah, I died too...... you'll see.

The snow has started to fall and there's lots more in the forecast. Get ready for some pow runs tomorrow!

This week should be awesome, especially for all of you that don't have school. Shout out to a week off! Hopefully you all can get some good shredding in.

The Man of Steel rail jam is coming up soon so after the snow clears go get your rail game tuned in for that. There will be a brand new feature making an appearance for the comp too. All I can tell you is that it's made of metal and plywood. So you'll just have to come see what it is.

Hey there! I hope you all had a good Valentine's day. This week has been great so far, nice weather and some snow in the forecast for tomorrow night! It is an awesome week to be riding.

I had a little break from the snow, a couple days to do some skateboarding out at Rye Airfield. So fun. The new park set up there is sweet and gave us some new ideas for Turbulence, so be on the look out for some changes to come.

Wow!! the big air comp went off today! Every body was killing it. If you were there you got to see some great riding today and probably saw me running around with the mega-phone too. I don't even know where to start, so much happened. There was a plethora of spins, corks, and grabs, and all i can say is"10". You will just have to check back and watch the videos soon to really see what went down.

The jumps are open to the everyone now and some new things will be coming soon.

Shout out to everybody that came out to support the competitors and to all the riders also for sending it.

Oh wow, super sweet week! Powder day yesterday with tons of snow, then sunny and warm with sick park today. I'll take it! The park has been killer. With the stair set in, wall ride up and more jumps getting built every day this week, it's going to be a great weekend to ride.

Check out the big air comp coming up on the 7th of February. The jump should be fun and I'm sure a good time will be had by all.

The PPC snowboard team has been killing it lately, learning all kinds of new stuff and keepin' it fresh. Check out the park videos to see some of them in action.
Speaking of people shredding hard, shout out to the New Hampshire natives ripping in the X-Games. Scotty Lago taking 2nd, Chas Guldimond in 4th, and Tim Humphreys 7th so sick!
